Who is she to think different about TG!
My last entry made a whole lot of strange discussions, here on my blog, on some of the blogs linking to me, and in a forum i do think matter: a forum for the demoscene (as far as i colud get it, mosly norway?)
Unfortunaly not every comment was a on topic, or even thougth trough.
So this one is for my self mostly. But so that no-one dropping by would ever be in doubt of this:
This is my domain, that means more than I just got my self a few Mb online. It also means i do as I please within laws applied to me by the laws of where i live (norway). I rant, I whine, I bitch. If you don’t like it, don’t read it.
My big, and used-to-be wonderful plan by going to The gathering was : 1 to see for my self what people keep talking about
2: hopefuly get an impression some of what this demoscene my friends keep nagging about is
3: have some fun.
4: see if i could contribute with somthing next year.
1: I did not see why people go there every year. Mostly becouse the other incident, but patrly becouse point number 2 was not anywhere close to satisfatory. The guy(you said it was you Dominei but i have my doubts about it.) next by me, was commenting loudly(not smalltalk to your next person) but as much as it did managed to catch my attention several times, as i was really trying to enjoy the demo.
That sucked.
No-matter how much a tradition or norm or whatever it is. Do you hear me Dominei! i don’t care that you feel stamed on or haunted, if it really were you, (i don’t think it was, i don’t remember the accsent beeing Bergen-ish, think it was more Oslo) don’t matter, it was rude! Next time think twice before commenting loudly, not everybody there is friends of yours and get the “norms”.
Yeah: and do i get you to give me a intruduction to those other partyes? Im still curious what the whole “big thing” with demos are. Enligthen me. Please.
2: I love what i do, and i spend lot of time and effort to make the dataparties I attend to, a nice expirience for everyone. Not just the boys, or the gamers. Your sex or your flavor of facination for computers matters less to me.
3: Gloomy did say that the head of security at TG had been talking to the guy that had been filming the girls. Somone told me that one guy was asked to leave(this guy ?)
The three wankers at row 52 was however not asked to leave. One of them deleted his local copy of the movie(as a “gesture”) that he got caugth redhanded editing(and btw: he did a lowsy job at it.) That bothered me. No, it made me furious.
4: I will make a proper complaint when my mandatory assigments this week is done. I think i got the rigth adress to send my complaint to,
5: I don’t have any of the people on the forums e-mailadresses so i can’t give them a proper reply. So here it is. I did not want to continue the flaming, Gloomy did have a point; the topic was already dead and worn out, and was mostly flaming and whining at the end.
