What it takes to be a “nerd”
Well what it used to take was simply having your own set of intrest independent of what ever others intrests migth be.
Others generations had hippies, the punks and the goths, the bohemians, and children of ectasy,communists and so on. is the “rebel” of today nerds? in one way it is a movment, (if you use the term loosly) this is the children knowing better and more than their parents, breaking new rules, and plogth new ways, trying the new ways. This time with computers. the average norwegian kid today knows far more about computers, that its parents, and will have to relate to them on a daily basis. Educationg in working with a computer has gone from “videregående” skole, to barneskolen. And im sorry grown ups, i doubt you will ever get as far as the kids will. Partly becouse most grown ups got jobs, lifes and obligations to others that takes time. And partly becouse even if there is a intrest for this, it is a subbculture of grown ops that is really into and have computer comuneties. the upgrowing generation is the culture that has an intrest of an active relations to this.
