Parents at LAN/computerparties

I really hope this is not smart generated spam. Becouse it was a heartwarming:

“Hi, Katla

I found your contact in http://www.misbehaving.net/2004/04/girls_and_lan_p.html , and thought maybe you could help me out.

I belong to the Parents Association of a high school in Portugal, and we are trying to organize parents-&-children activities. It occurred to me perhaps LAN-gaming would be interesting for both.

As a father, I could think of car-racing or football (soccer) games, because they don’t involve killing or violence, and I think kids would like to play them too.

However, I don’t have the slightest idea of what games would be considered interesting by mothers, fathers, girls and boys, all simultaneously.

Please help if you can, because I would not like this activity to be male-only.

Best wishes,
(name left out, i have not asked permission to publish this mail)”

And i love this, beeing able to help out people who wishes to make computing a possetive activety for everybody. Note that it’s parents&-children activetis they are arranging. Often the LAN-paryes(and computerparties) are without parenst for some reason, guess parents takes the week off instead of hanging out with their kids. Thats to bad, think of all the things parens get to know of their kids web-habbits?
